Palolim beach is one of the happening places in Goa , India and famous amongst foreign tourists for beautiful sandy beach. Zameen - Asmaan project is being planned near an estuarine area on Palolim beach. Mangroves, one of the threatened groups of plants in India , is dominant vegetation on this land and the theme of the resort is woven around this. Instead of reclaiming the land, existing land features and habitats are used in planning for whole resort. Their function & beauty will be used & highlighted in project planning. For this project, oikos worked in association with goan Architects 'Sadhales', a group practicing eco-responsive designs since 30 years.
