| oikos is working with Schenectady Herdillia Ltd for providing a framework of biomass planning according to species, land size, resource availability and duration. In India, the importance of biomass briquettes as substitute fuel for wood, coal is well recognized. However, the low availability of biomass has inhibited their extensive use. Thus there is now no alternative to grow biomass as constant, reliable and ecologically appropriate source of solid fuel. Creating biomass with appropriate ecological planning is a first of its kind project in our country which is being planned & implemented for Schenectady Herdillia Ltd. |
