oikos is working with Ecological Society to develop eco-perspective in standard procedures of watershed management. Our semi-arid regions are the main focus today for soil & water conservation work that will fulfill the needs of agriculture & civilizations. But does this take care of non-human beings ? To bring this component and make the watershed ecologically fulfilling, we are working with BAIF & NABARD in two watersheds near Pathardi, Dist. Nagar . First task is to assess the potential & develop site specific activities that are appropriate and practical to be incorporated as standard procedures.
