January - 2010

Dear Nature Lovers,

Greetings from oikos !
Wishing you a Healthy, Prosperous New Year !
During last two years, we shared few facts about our ecosystems, their importance, stresses & problems and lastly few positive actions for ‘Nature conservation’.
Coming year is now dedicated to a unique group of plants ‘Climbers’. There is great diversity in wild climbers. There are seasonal as well as perennial climbers, while some are very large & extensive ‘Lianas’ with woody stem. Many of them have unique characters reflecting in flowering pattern, color, bark, habit etc.  So this year, each monthly calendar will display a climber flowering in that period. Let’s know these native, unknown, rare climbers.

Regards,
Ketaki & Manasi.
